IL VOLO delivers powerful renditions of timeless pieces, including the Neapolitan classic “O’ Sole Mio,” the passionate “Amor, Vida de Mi Vida,” and Leonard Cohen’s beloved “Hallelujah,” among other arias, ballads, and classical-crossover favorites, like the “Gladiator,” “The Phantom of the Opera” or “Cats” songs and the “Nessun dorma”, “E lucevan le stelle” or “La donna è mobile” arias.
Performing around the world, IL VOLO have a fanbase of millions. This young Italian operatic pop trio (two tenors and one baritone, 30–32 years old) have already received massive international acclaim. They have reached more than a billion views on YouTube. The artists combine classical crossover and pop opera to engage the widest audiences possible with the beauty of classical music in an approachable way.
This remarkable concert took place at a unique venue in Southern Italy. In summer 2024, the artists performed a show at Valle dei Templi (Valley of the Temples), a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site of a monumental ancient Greek architectural complex in Sicily. They won the audience’s hearts with their performance. Thus, its big screen release offers a unique opportunity to listen to the greatest hits with the vocals of the three stunning singers: Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble.
The concert will also feature soprano Pretty Yende, a star of The Metropolitan Opera in New York and La Scala in Milan. She will join IL VOLO for the all-time great toast (brindisi) from Verdi’s “La traviata”.
